A bit of silliness is the morning got us running on time
We were getting ready for school and I noticed that my six year old son was showing off track behaviour by being rough with his little brother and moving very slowly with his usual routine of dressing, shoes etc. We were in the bathroom and he refused to brush his teeth. Looking at the time I realised that we needed to introduce some fun to speed up the process. I came behind him and started brushing his teeth and pretending to be his arms. Brushing his hair, squeezing his nose. He started to laugh as he saw his reflection in the mirror with my arms coming out by the side of his body. Within five minutes we were all ready and out of the door happy and connected.
By introducing play to our morning routine we were able to connect, laugh and move quickly. – Paula

“My husband and I are closer than ever”
“Thanks Paula, for the time you spend with my husband and I working through our son’s behavior difficulties in a loving way. My husband and I had got to a point where we had begun to get angry which only seemed to be making matters worse. Your support and tools has shown us a preferred ways of parenting and to keep these tools really close when the challenges of parenting arise and has brought my husband and I closer than ever.
Thank you again. Mary, South Australia
